Milk Review

After receiving positive feedback from my first ever beauty review on MAKE Beauty, I decided to keep this going. (thanks by the way!) Okay, let's get into it.

Last year in NYC, I walked into a Sephora store to buy a beauty blender. While I was walking around, I noticed this cute cosmetic packaging in one of the shelves which automatically caught my eye. I didn't really take in where the brand was from or if it was a well-known brand. All I thought to myself was how aesthetic everything is lol (yes, judge me). I didn't end up buying anything from that brand cause I didn't really need anything. Alright, fast forward to this year, I noticed how a lot more beauty bloggers were using the brand that I saw at Sephora - Mlik.

With all the hype around how awesome the product is, I decided to try it out. Since I was running out of concealer and primer, I decided to give Milk a try. Before buying their products, I went online to check out their ingredients and such. All their products are cruelty-free and made with the best possible ingredients : jojoba, coconut, orange peel, grape seed oil, fruits and veggie butters, which are all a plus. Alright, now for the reviews.

Cooling Water:

What I was told by the employee is that this Cooling Water stick can act as a primer. Since I was running out and wanted to try something new, I decided to give this a try. I personally have dry skin. I CANNOT go a day without moisturizing my skin. Before this, I used the SmashBox Hydrating Primer and it worked really well. When I applied the Cooling Water, my face felt so hydrating, cool, and light! My skin gave a natural glow also making it real smooth, which blended really well with my foundation and concealer. This stick is also multi use! You can also apply this on your neck / body as well.

Concealer:

Having dark circles since time, I was in need of concealer. This concealer was really creamy. You might think that most creamy and rather pigmented cosmetics would feel heavy when applied, but this doesn't! This product instantly melted when in contact with body heat, also blending very well with my Cooling Water and Sunshine Skin Tint (foundation). All I gotta do is dab a bit on my under eye, blend with my fingers and I'm set!

Sunshine Skin Tint:

I've never used foundation before. I used to use my MakeUp Forever Full cover concealer and kinda just used that as a foundation as well (not as in like applying all over my face, but more around the cheek area so it can blend out well with my skin). I ended up finishing my MakeUp Forever concealer faster than usual, so I decided to buy a foundation. When I apply makeup, I try to use a little as possible cause I hate the feeling of having a caked face. Seeing beauty bloggers apply foundation and then concealer kinda scared me cause it looks like they used a lot of foundation. I was still feeling a little iffy about buying this, but once I tested it on my skin, it felt so light - it literally felt like I was wearing moisturizer. Infused with a blend of avocado, mandarin, grape seed, and olive oil, it gave a natural glow to your skin. (it also has SPF 30) If you're into dewy makeup, I highly recommend this product! It's a roller application too, making it such a quick easy way to apply.

This is where I end my review (not sponsored). From wanting a natural look to a bold one, Milk really does have it all. My fave product would be the Cooling Water - it just feels so refreshing once it's on your skin. With such positive results, I can't wait to try out more of their products! #LiveYourLook
