Bold Stripes

I've been meaning to create a post for this outfit, but I never got to it - now here I am. If you've been keeping up with my posts on insta and other posts, you may realize my love for wide / statement pants. To be honest, if you asked me a year ago what I thought of these pants, I would think they are tacky or it doesn't suit me.

I've never really been the type of person that would wear statement clothes with big bold colours back then. When I saw these pants, I initially wanted the black and white version cause I was iffy about these. Nice to say, my friend was fed up how I'm always in my shell, never being able to wear what I actually wanted to wear and bought it for me on my birthday. To the friend who's reading this, you know who you are and I'd like to thank you for pushing me out of my shell. ily <3 

Details of outfit down below Instead of pairing it with a simple basic colour top, I chose to pair it with this royal blue silk top from Zara, half tucking it - showing the bow from the parts (pants are also from Zara)Winter and fall calls for booties. You can never go wrong with these classic ankle booties from Topshop.Finally I tied the whole outfit with my mom's hand me down vintage dark red Cartier hand bag, which I feel worked really well with the whole fit. The palette of this whole outfit created a very fall look but also winter in a sense.
