Denim on Denim

With all this denim on denim trend, there is no way that I'm not gonna jump on that wagon. I'm not sure what those pumps are actually called but I'll call them mom pumps. I noticed how they are trending now and I've been wanting to get a pair myself, but everywhere I look was a bit too expensive for me. One day after finishing one of my exams, I decided to walk around H&M to see what cute things they have, and there she was. This beaut of a nude mom pumps right in front of me with only 2 pairs left and thank god one of the pairs was my size. Did I mention they were suede too? supa comfy! (Still needed to break them in a bit, but wasn't as painful compared with my other shoes)

I told myself I will buy these pairs of pumps as a reward once I finished all my finals. And there you have it. I've been trying to find a way to incorporate these shoes with my wardrobe. To be honest, I barely had anything to pair with these shoes so it was quite challenging for me at first.

But then I found this top I bought a couple years back and my high waisted jeans and thought to myself - why not? It didn't turn out THAT bad right?

Lastly, I just put on my go-to oversized jean jacket for the chilly times during the day and my tote to complete my outfit. What do you think?
